Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Breaking Point (“the site”), a free website for practising consulting case interviews. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the site offers
The site provides learning material, practice questions, model answers, maths drills, firm preparation guides, progress tracking and an AI practice interviewer. It is provided free of charge, for personal and educational use.
2. Your account
You can sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You can stop using the site and sign out at any time.
3. AI Mode and your API key
AI Mode uses Google’s Gemini service with an API key that you provide. Your key is stored only in your browser, and your use of Gemini is governed by Google’s own terms and any limits or charges on your Google account. AI-generated questions, feedback and scores are automated and can be inaccurate or incomplete. Use them as practice aids, not as professional advice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the site, interfere with its operation or try to access data that is not yours;
- use automated tools to scrape the site or to send large volumes of requests;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
5. Content
The site’s guides, questions, model answers and design are provided for your personal preparation. Please do not republish them in bulk without permission.
Firm profiles describe typical interview formats as commonly reported and may not reflect any firm’s current process. Firm names are used only to identify the firms, and Breaking Point is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the firms mentioned. Interview questions labelled as “asked at” a firm are based on candidate reports.
6. No guarantees
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the content is complete or error-free, that the site will always be available, or that using it will lead to any interview or job outcome.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Breaking Point is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including loss of data or any charges on your own Google or Gemini account.
8. Changes and suspension
We may update, change or discontinue any part of the site, and may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms. If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
9. Privacy
How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
